Uba Hydration Water Bottle

I have thought for a long time that I do not hydrate properly. I feel like I do not drink water enough and I was pretty sure that I wasn't getting near the daily recommended allowance of water or any other liquid for that matter. When I saw this bottle, I thought, what an excellent idea! Not only could I make sure to get what I need but I can also a lot it into time frames thought-out the day. It made it a bit less overwhelming than looking at this huge bottle of water and thinking I need to drink it all now. So, I got it and I realized fairly quickly that it's really great but with a few faults. One being one of the reason's that attracted me to it and that is the color. I love the clean look of the off-white color, but it didn't take me long to realize that it also shows dirt. I put ice in my bottle, and it sweats a lot. The sweat itself causes shadows that make it look dirty. That on top of the dirt the condensation pulls off my hands make it look terrible. I had no idea just how dirty my hands become at work, but I know now. One other fault is that it has really wide mouth which I'm glad of because it makes it easier to put ice in but it's terrible because when I'm drinking and then put the bottle down the ice drops to the bottom and splashes water back out on me. I try to be more aware and tilt it back slowly but it's a hassle. Might have been nicer if it had a drinking spout or straw. I was a little concerned that I would have a hard time washing the bottle because of the silicone sleeve but the sleeve is removable so no problems there. Overall, it's a nice bottle. It is a very attractive bottle. The bamboo top is cute too. It has made it so much better and easier for me to monitor my water intake motivate me to ensure that I'm getting at least the minimum that I need.

Yes, glass is heavy and you have to be careful not to knock it around too much... however, it doesn't impart any taste to your water and I prefer it over plastic (of any kind) or even aluminum or stainless steel. I like the larger size of this bottle (32 vs the common 20 oz bottle). The locking mechanism is also unique and works well. The time marker is sort of silly as it's fixed in place ... your watch or phone would be better in this respect. Otherwise though, I really like this bottle!
